Storytelling has never been more important as research turns towards data heavy outputs. However, data alone isn’t enough; the impact of the insight is heavily reliant on the narrative that explains the numbers. Storytelling is a powerful tool and being confident in different techniques is essential for insight teams.

MRS’ Storytelling Conference plans to showcase creative examples of how to turn information, data and metrics into meaningful and persuasive narratives that stir emotions, embed deep understanding, influence, teach, & inspire and drive forward significant change.

We want to share with delegates tools and techniques which have been particularly effective in maximising stakeholder buy-in to research and in spreading the impact of insight across organisations and supply chains and consumers.

Please send us your stories of success in the following areas:

  • Creative story telling methodologies
  • Analysing data and finding the story behind the numbers
  • Designing powerful infographics for research projects
  • Transforming insight into commercial strategy
  • Storytelling for driving innovation
  • Storytelling for social change

If you’d like to present at this event please send us your ideas for a:

  • 30 minute case study – demonstrate how innovative methodologies have led to notable
  • No slides panel debate – suggest a strategic or methodological panel discussion.
  • Round table discussion – suggest and lead a 30 minute discussion on a particular storytelling methodology.

A quick note on our selection criteria
