This guidance provides a client perspective on inclusion and AI. It has been prepared on behalf of the MRS Senior Client Council and client colleagues.

As we look to make our research processes more inclusive, we should also be taking a broader look at the tools we use and the ways the implications they may have.

The opportunities with AI are likely to be significant, however it requires a mind-shift from ‘how do we do the same things with different tools’ to ‘what’s the new way of thinking & doing research’, and for us to then think about the boundaries and ethical considerations required for these new ways.
