MRS rallies round the belief that: Evidence Matters. The core of what we are about in the MRS EDI programme is ensuring everyone has equal opportunity to achieve and everyone is treated with respect, regardless of who they are and where they come from. This survey then should help us stop and assess where we are and how we are doing and, ensure we are focusing on the right priorities.

The survey was designed and conducted by Savanta and carried out online between 2 October and 4 November 2024. The invitation to take part was sent to MRS members and was promoted more widely on social media, so it was open to anyone who chose to take part. 

Our sample includes 57% who work for agencies, 26% who are client-side and 10% who work for research suppliers or technology providers.
