Eurostat

Eurostat publishes a range of classifications. Some of these are not relevant to social research (eg the CORINE land cover classification). Where there is a choice, a UK (ONS or MRS) standard classification would normally be preferred to a Eurostat classification, since results will tie in to ONS published data or other research within the UK.
